Sharing Real-World Experience and Presenting the Future of AI-Based Predictive Technology
Through a Luncheon Symposium and Exhibition Booth

AITRICS(CEO Kwang joon Kim), a company specializing in artificial intelligence(AI) technology announced on the 23rd that it will introduce its patient deterioration prediction AI solution, AITRICS-VC (VitalCare), at the 45th Annual Congress of the Korean Society of Critical Care Medicine (KSCCM·ACCC 2025), which will be held on April 24–25 at the COEX Magok Convention Center.
At this year's congress, AITRICS will operate a booth where visitors can experience the AITRICS-VC solution, which is already being used in real clinical settings. The company will also present research findings related to the clinical value and real-world data of AITRICS-VC during the luncheon sessions.
On the first day, a luncheon symposium will be held with Professor Jaehwa Cho from the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Gangnam Severance Hospital serving as chair. Professor Soo Jeong Kim from the Division of Hematology-Oncology at Yongin Severance Hospital will present on the topic "Application of AI Solutions in Rapid Response Systems (RRS): Clinical Value and Efficient Operations."
On the second day, Professor Sung-Hoon Park from the Department of Critical Care Medicine at Hallym University Sacred Heart Hospital will chair a session where Taeyong Sim, Chief Medical Officer at AITRICS, will speak on "Artificial Intelligence Solutions for Predicting Patient Deterioration: Present and Future," sharing the latest research trends and clinical application cases.
AITRICS-VC is a medical AI solution that analyzes 19 types of electronic medical record (EMR) data—including six vital signs, eleven blood test parameters, consciousness level, and age—to predict the risk of conditions such as sepsis, cardiac arrest, and death at an early stage. Currently adopted by over 100 hospitals in Korea, it supports healthcare professionals in making prompt clinical decisions.
CEO Kwang joon Kim of AITRICS stated, “AITRICS-VC provides clinical value in the medical field by predicting patient deterioration and enabling healthcare professionals to take immediate medical action in emergency situations involving inpatients. As the number of hospitals using the solution continues to grow, we will focus on further advancing the technology and conducting clinical research to provide practical support to patients and healthcare professionals in more diverse wards.”
Meanwhile, the KSCCM Annual Congress is a professional academic event where the latest insights in the field of critical care medicine are shared and various medical technologies and research outcomes are discussed. This year’s event will be held under the theme, “Reviving ICUs, Restoring Hope.”
