AITRICS, a medical AI company, announced on the 13th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with HyeMin Hospital (CEO Kim Byeong-kwan) for joint research and academic consultation in the field of medical AI.
Under this agreement, the two parties will actively collaborate on ▲Data collection and utilization, development of educational programs ▲Joint research using AITRICS' medical AI solutions ▲Business operation and development through medical consultation.
AITRICS will accumulate clinical evidence for its AI Solution for predicting patient deterioration, ‘AITRICS-VC(VitalCare)’, and conduct various research projects in collaboration with HyeMin Hospital. HyeMin Hospital plans to establish a foundation for joint research and explore potential business opportunities.
Kwang-Joon Kim, CEO of AITRICS, stated, "Through this research collaboration with HyeMin Hospital, we have established a foundation to accumulate real-world clinical data (RWD) from various patient groups. AITRICS will continue to carry out research and development based on the needs of the healthcare field and strive to provide innovative solutions that benefit both patients and medical professionals."
Byeong-kwan Kim, CEO of HyeMin Hospital, said, "In secondary healthcare institutions where there is a shortage of medical staff, the introduction of AI solutions plays a crucial role in improving the efficiency of patient safety management. Through this partnership, we will work together to establish scientific and clinical evidence for AI solutions, ensuring their safety and reliability."
Meanwhile, AITRICS' VitalCare is a medical AI solution that predicts conditions such as sepsis, cardiac arrest, and mortality based on biometric signals of hospitalized patients. It is currently being used in more than 70 hospitals across South Korea.
